A Time of Conflict But Inner Peace; the Contradiction.

It has been an interesting long while - since my last Blog.
I have succinct reasoning to justify this absence of written expression. The main one being, I was reading Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, in my early knowledge quest to quench the thirst of insight... I did note that he said and wrote: "There are things that I, and other great people such as Louise L. Hay, will never speak of."

I made a video during some times of shift and turmoil, and it was intended for others. It was made after a short sharp burst of energy, that thankfully subsided as fast as it came.

I will include it at the bottom of this blog. Dr. Gillian Ross the main inspiration behind the video or the themes expressed, was pleased with it, however my ego show at the end and the music was not of her fancy. Very reasonable.

The music and creative drive really came to the fore, I decided to pursue further music/audio and photography, visual media.,..

I am creating a new balance in my life, I sat making that video for hours, and much to my detriment. I have quite a special new video in the making. The creative process has been refined, rather than excess it just focuses on bit by bit - build the foundation, then the structure... and a building of I hope beauty... over time.

If I sit on my glutes all morning, I now experience cabin fever - I get this feeling that anxiety is trying to creep back onto my back. It has not been there, weighing on my shoulders for more than two years now. That monkey can stay off my back. I will allow him jungle time, he can play, but not on me.
He has plenty to occupy him I am certain. The jungle can be vibrant and alive.

My mind is a more meditative tranquil paradise, as opposed to a jungle these days.
I did an animal spirit guided meditation by Teal Swan this morning for the first time, the one by her rather. I recently did an animal spirit meditation by Gillian, deep Yoga Nidra style, but it was to get in the body of the animal the spirit... not to source your specific power animal.

My first great spiritual experience of unforgettable magnitude was when I was around 15 years old. I was leaning toward the esoteric world - largely driven by my goth sub-culture desire and other teenage yearning.

Poetry, Goth, and the contrast of Graffiti, and rebellion... the artist, the writer, the mind. The spirit.
The insecurity of fear, the weakness and vulnerability of youth.
The wanting or needing to feel a part of something greater, but always standing from the outside looking in, casting a mere shadow inside the wishful circle for fleeting moments.
The wanting to know and understand, what I was born to do. What made me happy - was it drugs, or the 100 miles an hour excess life? Was it spiritual?

That 15 year old was invited to a Shamanic journey, by his experienced older esoteric friends and acquaintances. We went up to this magical house, in the foothills of Mount Wellington, I believed the home was owned by one of the rich spiritually minded souls.

They started the ritual and ceremony, burned some Sage and did other Native instinctive tradition. It was commented the whole room started to get this intense energy. Some said the earth was moving and the room was shifting. This was before we even descended.

Back to first person, I was led down stairs, almost like my artwork in a slight sense, to the spirit world. My power animal made itself visible. To my shock and almost amusement - it was a Polar Bear.

I was thinking you are joking me right?
Like at that age I probably envisioned being in some commercial for Coca-Cola - after all at the time I drank that toxic crap - was the spirit world poking fun?

That soon got blasted away when one of the guides in the room, (speaking guidance) - asked us, or prompted us to question the animal before us.

Are You my Power Animal?

This was the question. (That was the question).

Imagine my total surprise, keep in mind a kid from an fairly ordinary upbringing of usual concepts and earthly restrictions... almost forced into church mainstream worship. The bear replied:

You Are Me.

Enough said.

I got to reunite with that animal thanks to Teal Swan this morning. It was an old friend.
We are no longer just friends... we decided to merge. We are as one, not apart.

In keeping with tradition I will include a great song by an Australian legend of spirit - Xavier Rudd. Please watch it until the end - some of the most visually spectacular imagery ever caught on video from Australia. And in-spirit. Inspirational.

Namaste.

The Path of Excess Leads To the Tower of Wisdom - Blog Version

This blog explains some of the reasons and history behind the video of the same name, I released yesterday on YouTube. I was looking at a video released by a great friend known as ConfusedGirlLA or as I would prefer to call her, by the real awesomeness of her name, Giovanna Silvestre (yes your name almost is as epic as mine).

It was a video I did not come to expect from her. It was titled Facing Your Demons, the best way out is always through. She had replaced her usual loving confident persona with a shattered emotional, honest but wounded one. It made me reflect on the simple premise, even the best of us are never immune to the vagaries of negative emotions and feelings.

I felt at the time, poor dear, wish I could comfort her. But that feeling of detachment you have when you view something online - you remove the true sort of family concern, and replace it with the distant oh that person matters, I hope they are okay. Then something unusual happened, or perhaps not. I believe the universe works some patterns out of reasoning, I was to myself endure a day - or later that night - a period of emotional turmoil. I had to look deep within myself. I did constantly think of Giovanna during my small brief nightmare, and told her I planned to write about this. I kept thinking how can I possibly learn any lessons from this awful class we attend in life, and teach or reflect to other students, how to navigate it better?

The answer to that question, sadly is... when you view my video below I believe - keep in mind the U2 song I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For.

I think a great lesson is, we are all students in a class called life. We need to sit and observe and try and worry less about asking too many deep questions. We want to seek the truths and feel inferior we have not mastered certain criteria. We have the lessons being taught in front of us, and we learn from each and every one. We gain something from each new learning curve, despite going home crying or feeling like the day bullied us into submission. We get back up the next morning, smile at our parents and go back to school, pushing away the fear of the day before. We want to run, we want to hide, but we know this is the stuff we are forced to do. If we do not do it, we will never pass. And I ask what exactly is the defining of passing the school of life???

I think to pass, we just simply need to leave the school, with a smile. We need to look back at the good times, and try to smell the roses along the way. We can try and push aside the time we got pushed into the rose bushes, and got pricked. We can feel gratitude for the times we made our friends lives better during class - when our friend was down we picked them up. We can reflect that we fought against the ideals of the bullies with love rather than hate. We beat them too.

We passed. We passed. We already have a certificate to be proud of by living our dreams.

After graduating this High School, I will See you all in College or University someday perhaps?

The video below is the one I made yesterday. And a link to a site to view the song that inspired the flow of creativity to actualize the content. - A wonderful clip recorded in the city of dreams where beautiful people with beautiful hearts live, but feel broken or empty. Also the link to Running To Stand Still the lyrics from the official U2 website.

To Judge or Not to Judge? THAT is the Question!

Just wanted to share some thoughts this morning, free style. On that note, I saw a beat boxer in the city last week, doing his thing. He no doubt draws some interesting thoughts and makes certain impressions on the people walking past - But you know what? He is loving his Passion - he has love and a skill so leave him be. If you judge anyone for something they love to do, it is not a reflection on the foolishness of what they do; but a mirrored reflection of the person you are. You are projecting things within yourself and creating a judgement from You - Not from their behaviour. If you need to forgive someone in life - you must have judged in order to want it.

On this note, Wayne W. Dyer and Louise L. Hay speak of forgiveness, my dear Mother when I discussed the concept - her first blurted question was I CANNOT FORGIVE anyone who has hurt me AND ALLOW THEM BACK INTO MY LIFE!!!
No worries - You are actually better off without them in your life - they are a negative energy but what you need to address is to forgive them in your heart and mind, and let go of the pain. Holding onto that pain, is like Wayne describes as the snake bite - You can say Yes the snake bit me, I recognise this, but I will not allow the venom to slowly eat away at me and poison me until death.
I know from experience, hell we ALL DO, just how toxic and unbearable that venom can be.

Think of the ex-partner you turned against, the friend who shafted you, the co-worker who spreads lies or gossips about you - the friend who talks shit behind your back - and smiles with the grace of God when they walk up to you, like butter would not melt in their mouth?
I laughed so hard when Wayne says these people can be in your life and stick around just like those stubborn turds THAT REFUSE TO FLUSH. No Matter how many times you flush the toilet they seem to re-appear or just refuse to allow the plumbing system to work it's magic!!

I can hear you say you cannot possibly forgive someone who has hurt you so badly, a man talked about wanting to go and urinate on his Father's Grave - Wayne simply answered that yes he felt the same at a point, and then made the emphasis that perhaps learn to change your thought process on why this person came into your life - was this person actually in some strange way, sent as a teacher to draw you toward becoming a better You. To help direct you on your path?
You can look at the negative expressions from EVERYONE in your life as a lesson. Something you can learn from. I have a particularly bad nasty neighbour, I have discussed her briefly before, but now I have learned to accept who she is, and understand in a way the reasons she acts like she does. Rather than want to murder her or allow her to cause me such agony in emotions and feelings, I now think of her on a totally different level. I send her love in my mind rather than invest in the venom or hate - I will bless her in my mind the next time she starts to hurl abuse and physically threaten or challenge me. I will walk away and not respond, rather than add a bucket load of fuel to the fire that has exploded many times in the past - and I must add TO NO BENEFIT.

I made this observation and had a thought about the scenario with my neighbour - I am walking from my Mother's Unit to my Unit and suddenly, once upon a time I used to assume she had a Happiness "radar", she appears and starts screaming her abuse - first reaction - ignore bless her go into my unit - yes I will feel shocked and slightly perturbed... but I have the strength of mind to deal with it. Second scenario - I answer back, with a reply I think will somehow make her see my point of view, or to shake her into seeing my perspective - To a person most unwell and out of control - dangerous. She will react like I just threw fuel on her and erupt, threaten to smash my windows or kill me and that sort of thing. How do I then go into my unit feeling? If it got real bad, and the police attended like they have in the past, this just consumes the negative energy into a sickness. The memory of going to court and applying for a restraining order to cease her constant attacks is not a memory I reflect upon as joyful. I used to feel quite drained and I was physically making myself sick a year ago on this venom. It nearly killed me.

I have found a calmness, a gentle sense of peace in my mind. I have let go of all the people I used to hold so negatively with containers of snake venom. To prove this, I watched a video by Leo from Actualized.org recently, he asked us to write down a list of all the people in your life - you currently despise hate or have strong judgement towards. He said pause the video, go write the list, and return.
I did. I had the pen and paper in my hands for over five minutes.
The names failed to flow. I tried to rack my brain. Nobody.

Food for thought?

Just so you know, you can get a plumber to clear those blockages and allow those turds to flush, the plumber is free - you do not have pay someone. Look at investing in the services of a person who can expertly help you - where do you find them? Who are they? Go walk into your bathroom, gaze into the mirror - who do you see? The ONLY person for the job - and most capable - they may not have the skills yet but they can learn as well as any tradesman how to do a quality job. They will have the plumbing in pure FLOW.

I do not intend or want you to discuss why you cannot apply the above, or the event or person that prevents you - just simply read this and you need not apply anything in life. But I can tell you, you can shout and scream the above is not feasible - and I will answer with the Dyer quote If You Change the Way You Look at Things - the things you look at Change.

Lastly a song - a dark dark song - we are not all into the light at certain points in our lives and I personally do not believe in shutting myself away from listening to music some consider as dark brooding - or even dangerous to positive energy - it is how you feel in your mind when you listen to music. I used to put on Slayer or some death metal when I had bad anger and mood issues a year ago... I rarely listen to it for that reason anymore. In fact I do not listen for that reason - that is almost putting the welcome mat at your feet to the anger and mood to rub it's feet and come inside, and sit down for a glass of Red. Spend the whole evening in your bed. Wake up beside you and smile as you regret the night before. You danced and entertained a most stinky turd. Flush them.

This song is by Sparklehorse and Danger Mouse - Dark Night Of The Soul. Let me know if the video ever gets taken down I will edit and replace it so the video is not dead.
R.I.P. Mark Linkous (AKA Sparklehorse) I truly wish you had found peace on earth whilst you graced us with your talent, showered in pain and hurt. You will leave a legacy of great creativity for the future generations to reflect upon. Bless You. Love You.

I AM - Always in a Constant Growth Pattern of Learning

I  would like to share my thoughts and emotions largely based on my recent decision to jump into the YouTube fire or cauldron. I was unsure whether or not I could do it, would do it; if I had the capacity or general skills and personality to do it. And how it would transpire into my feelings and thoughts.

Last night I had some certain dealings with a certain person. The video I made on nutrition or weight loss triggered a response from them. I initially thought the response was unfair and based on the poor attitude they reflected from themselves. I will not go into detail too deeply. It was on a social media site I rarely use and I was almost expecting to draw some heat.

The main thing is, after some lack of consideration, I allowed myself to blow up and lower myself to an energy level I am trying hard to learn to disengage myself from. I allowed the old me to hurl some serious old me anger back at the person. This prompted a feeling of thoughts and emotions after the fact.

I was listening to a Dr. Wayne W. Dyer audio late last night, as I usually do in the hour before bed. His voice I trust now always has this calming effect. No matter what the day has held, whether it was a day of pure flow a day of slight challenges, or whatever - I hear him speak and it has this calming soothing influence - it triggers an introspection every single time.

The audio series has eight CDs so I am never trapped by one set of principles or ideals to ponder.
I began to listen to him on his principle of ego and how he said something along the lines of True Nobility is not defined in essence by wanting or feeling you are better than anyone else, or in competition with anyone else - that you have done something better than someone else - it is defined by a simple premise of learning to simply believe this - I am simply BETTER THAN THE PERSON I ONCE WAS.

I am in the process as everyone else is - of learning, of growing and constantly trying to push myself toward that goal of :

Becoming the best person, to myself - I can possibly be.

Not for reasons of status or the reason to be liked or loved. I do not care for the acceptance of anyone else but myself. I do not require the validation of others to make me feel whole. I must learn to dismiss all ego and the desire to promote what I have done in the past; in a way or manner that makes others feel like I am saying - I am better. I am best. You tried. You failed. You did not try hard enough. I am not doing it for reasons to gain any form of recognition that is only to cradle my own ego. I must keep learning to try and stay on the outer edges of obscurity, to dilute ego.

Let go of the look at me, oh should I have done that video when I had a huge pimple on my forehead? What will others think of my odd deep strange Aussie accent mixed with Dutch tone... and a low vibrational Leonard Cohen monotonous speaking voice drone - and my rocking around in motion on my computer chair as I spoke... the way I pronounced Dyer as DYWER all this mindless negative monkey chatter.
The old me surfaced and whispered gently many many times. The thought of my first thumbs down on a YouTube Video from someone - who could it have been and why would they thumbs down a video that promoted healthy fitness food?

I really had to look within myself and ask - why am I feeling this? Why am I feeling these emotions? Just like Gregg Braden says you need to address this as Hmmmmm. I feel this, everyone feels it, how can I use this to assess a better path forward? You can never avoid all negative thought - it is simply impossible, even Louise L. Hay guides her negative thoughts like stray sheep gently back into the paddock of positive thought. We have the brain that is programmed from the instinct of worry - it comes from from the days we required it - will that killer animal eat me when me, myself Mr Caveman tries to gather a feed for the dark ages family? Would the tribe be upset if I clubbed Mr Caveman sitting opposite me to death across the fire? He wrote over my caveman drawing this morning - and it was a work of art - my graffiti should never be gone over by anyone. Sadly an indictment of our modern society the intense pace and stress causes most of us to be consumed by excessive caveman worry - but into things the caveman had no real purpose of learning from. The negative things we consume ourselves with in present society; we source and embrace, are to our pure detriment. It has left many carcasses of people who did not cope to lie regretfully behind us. I know I have been to some funerals I know needed not happen.

I applied the principle that Dyer tries to encourage most effectively to that person I abused. I began to rather Not think of them with disdain or negative resentment - I actually blessed them - they allowed this whole thought process to be triggered. I thanked them within myself. They said some things from a perspective I needed to hear. Some truths came out that I was denying. I felt Gratitude. I truly took the views and applied it as wisdom, You can never allow yourself to fully shut off from all opinions of others when sometimes those opinions must be looked at from a different angle.

I needed to source a video from the inspirational friend that made me jump into that fire - so this is her video that I clicked upon and I must share it - the theme relates boldly to some of my thoughts and my actions forward. And you know now how much I love and adore my music so I will include a well known song for you all at the bottom of my blog - enjoy and it has elements I am drawn to, in times of need the album it comes from is a worthy source of positive energy. Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars from the album Eyes Open - in my thoughts eyes open - heart open!

I AM WORTHY -
I AM ON THE PATH TO A BETTER ME -
I AM OPEN TO LEARNING AND ACCEPTING ALL I FEEL
I AM INTENT ON LOVE AND LIGHT.

Thankyou for reading, and you WILL SEE ME AGAIN ON YOUTUBE SOON.
love and light
Namaste.

Thankyou Louise Hay Positive Growth is Attainable by Anyone

Okay, I was planning to quote some Louise L. Hay material but after some online research it appears to be a copyright grey area... so I am just going to wing it myself with some thoughts based on her general wisdom that I have learned from her great work recently. I will put it entirely into my own words and express how I wish to share it - I will include an interview with the great lady at the bottom of this blog I found on YouTube if you choose you can listen to her, and watch her speak her insight.

A few months ago I purchased her CD 101 Power Thoughts from Amazon Link:

http://www.amazon.com/101-Power-Thoughts-Louise-Hay/dp/1401903967/ref=sr_1_1_twi_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1422210908&sr=8-1&keywords=101+power+thoughts

I can now look back on this as the catalyst of rapid mindset change and growth.
It opened up a door that was already partially ajar, thanks in great part to my spiritual leader and friend the Australian well-being expert, Author and Meditation CD publisher, Dr. Gillian Ross. It led me to a new path that I am so grateful to walk upon each and every day.

One observation I have made from reading many countless stories from others who have experienced profound growth, is the initial event or the common theme that seems to trigger or inspire it. This to me seems to be created from change, or an event that prompts change. This can be a devastating life battle, or a shattering struggle or challenge. Or perhaps simply from one's own desire to improve a life they are unhappy with.

In my personal case, and many others, it was the decision to improve the body. A Nutrition upheaval or physical choice to lose weight and get healthy. Louise is a strong promoter of the simple facts of which we need to nourish our body, give it good quality nutrition, exercise and love ourselves. She actually encourages people to consult a nutritionist if they are unsure, or research how to eat better and live well.

Why would she promote this? I can sense some of you asking this, and you might respond with things such as... you are perfectly comfortable in your skin and happy in your current life without the need to adopt any dietary changes. If this is the case, why do you complain about your job, why do you worry the minute you wake up from a bad night's sleep, affected by alcohol from the night before? Perhaps you are nicotine reliant, or you smoked some dope last night, or popped prescription meds to get you through your crippling anxiety. Or you use anything you can to comfort the pain you just denied? Why do you say you want to lose that belly fat or get to the gym, but you do not have time for exercise? You have children and a busy life, you cannot fit it in ... and so on. Why do some of you say you do not worry and are mostly happy, but if you truly looked within you know you worry the minute you prepare to go to work; or you worry about the amount of time you overslept from lack of motivation or drug use.

The justifications or excuses you will hold onto...You might try and say you are happy doing drugs it gets you through the pain, you smoke cigarettes because you feel it relaxes you - you need to calm a busy life and reduce your stress. But at the same time you wish you could also quit. You want to quit drugs but you are stuck in the circle of friends and a place that makes it hard to consider moving away from... perhaps like me, you had this crazy romantic connection with drugs from the feelings they gave you when you experimented with them years earlier. Perhaps some of this was almost positive or at least you thought it was, so you hold onto the memory that drugs calmed you and gave you a happy time. Even if in reality they did the opposite and almost caused you death.
You may try and tell me in regard to nutrition - but you love your soda too much, you cannot give up your refined sugar and chocolate or fast food treats. The effort is too much, or that you tried in the past and failed. Or you are too heavy, it's too late. You have a medical condition that prevents you from exercise... or you are allergic to vegetables, you can only stomach french fries, and nothing else makes you feel full. Healthy people only eat rabbit food and those fit people look anorexic anyway. And gym guys & girls are all muscles and no brains - full of ego. You are too fat to walk into a gym the others would intimidate you - you would feel uncomfortable because the other members look better than you.

I am not judging, hell I have done ALL OF THE ABOVE at certain times earlier in my life, so believe me I cast no ill feeling toward whatever anyone else does.

Louise makes the point, to fully understand the reasons why others behave the way they do, we would need to walk a mile in their shoes. The world is a cauldron of interesting vibrant different combinations of unique souls. A person cannot be a blueprint of someone else. This is a theme I need to touch on, discover your uniqueness, embrace it. As soon as you find comfort in conforming; which is dictated to us by our parents and the education system from day one, we are paralysed and crippled by emotional restraint.

Like Louise says we are all born happy vibrant babies, it is the influence of others particularly during childhood that forces us into creating set patterns for our attitudes, our beliefs, our anger, our emotional responses, how we deal with relationships love and life as a whole.
I am not saying our Mothers and Fathers are particularly at fault, but some of them without even knowing it, are forcing their behaviours and lessons learned from their childhood onto their children.
This can have a great positive effect, or in stark contrast, have the potential to end a life. Or create a person so abused and crippled by negative experiences they serve no purpose to themselves, or to life.

Again, the concept of change..,the above is not a forced pyramid of power that confines us for the rest of our living days. I love a motivational video that has the quite profound statement that shocked me and might shock you as well:

Most people you know what they do? Most people go through life, quietly and safely,
tip toeing their way to an early grave.

That might sound harsh and abrasive but I can tell you, when you used to do it, and then you learn to overcome it, you realise the truth in it.

I run into people in my life everyday that talk, and now I listen. I used to try and focus only on what I wanted to say. I got quite impatient at waiting for them to pause, so I could blurt my point of view or what I wanted to say. In fact I was so drawn into myself I sometimes did not even absorb what the other person said. Or just interrupted them whilst they spoke and blurted it anyway; which is the essence of rudeness and gains little respect or love. I hear them now talk about things, I pick up the general energy they feed out. I can sense the positive and the negative. Sadly in far too many people the latter is more prevalent.

I can see so many that want change, but they do not understand it's possible, or are just unwilling to even consider it at this point in their lives. Some are so negative they might just plain hate on the reasons other people have made positive changes and succeeded. They resent it and turn it against the person. Largely based on the fact they could not make the change themselves and want to try and knock the person down a peg or two.

I warn you, when you embrace change, people will love you for it, some will hate you for it. Even weight loss - you might get a friend or two that are so positive and encouraging, whilst you will get one or two that will tell you or remind you of the fact you might fail. Or you are doing it for a reason they disagree with. Please check this great link a article written by Ben Michaelis Ph.D. for the Huffington Post.
He is a clinical psychologist and author. If you want to succeed in life you need to address the "people pleasing" concept many of us are controlled by, and let it go.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ben-michaelis-phd/people-pleasing_b_3110073.html

I cannot understate how good it feels to not care for what anyone else thinks or says to me, particularly when it is negative. I will leave you all with one last train of thought - a train that is on the tracks of self-actualization and not headed down the NYC subway in the 1980s covered in graffiti (I say this in humour Respect to Cope 2 and all those street art legends you guys and girls started a revolution that many others love to Hate.)

You can find joy or gratitude in a compliment, but learn to Not seek it. You do not need any approval or acceptance from anyone but yourself. You do not need to constantly ask others if you are loved, or are beautiful. Or that you need to source unconditional love; that you need to earn it. Dismiss the mindset you are not worthy of love from others unless you have a career, a car or a Miranda Kerr body, or a Hugh Jackman physique. When you learn to love yourself first and foremost, this will be reflected in the people you meet and the people that are drawn into your life. Attract the right - and let go of the wrong and the feelings and mind that has controlled you to this point.

Skip to 9:12 in the YouTube video if you want a Louise Hay direct insight on this.

Shine the light, and walk around the darkness. If darkness comes in do not allow it to linger, open the curtain as soon as possible in your mind to shine the light back in. Replace the dark with light, instead of embracing the dark and allowing it to linger - choose the light instead. Overcome the barriers, and embrace challenge. Do not allow yourself to be held back ...life is in the Now - the present moment - the future can be changed, and the past cannot. Why continue to be held in the past when it is something that you can never change? Look to an idea, an ideal, a word, I like to use one in particular, Hope.

Hold onto that word, Hope.
Even if you do not embrace a single word or concept I have addressed above, if you hold onto Hope when things are beating you down - you will more than likely stand back up again. If you lose it, you may just remain on that canvas and never get back up, even after the final count.
What would this life have been for?
A fight you struggled with, a match that had great potential, but in the end the person who was more capable of greatness than anyone just got knocked out. Anyone and everyone is capable - it is not an esoteric illusion that is only attainable by a select few. The fighter above does not usually get remembered. The person that might have more potential to be is the champion with their victorious fist in the air. The person who helped inspire and create a better world for others. Not for himself or herself. But for others. And a true champion has character and the essence of lesser ego.

Be humble remain true and love, and love yourself as you will learn to draw the love from others.
Let go of all that negative garbage that has piled up, clean it out and learn to only look back when required and not for the shadows but the light. The negative it serves no useful purpose. It just makes the spirit of your place (mind and body) unclean, and makes you unhealthy and unhappy.

If you read this to the very end I applaud you, my blog writing is still in the early stages. I do this not for profit motivation I just want to help inspire others. Please comment and reshare to your hearts content. I always try and respond to each and everyone that takes the time to comment. My gratitude even for sharing your thoughts, you may disagree, agree or not believe a word but I accept and gain insight from everyone.

Namaste.

Mindset Growth and Development a Powerful Tool and Skill to Encompass

When I was 16 I was leaning toward the idea of thinking outside the square, or not like most other 16 year olds would choose to think, I delved into elements of Shamanism and Dream Meanings and Spiritual themes I joined a group at the time called The Circle of Destiny, well, I did not join it was a small group of older adult like minded people that shared insight.

I would love to go into The New Moon Book Store in the city and a newsreader at the time Tom Payne (or Paine) owned it, a staff member at times was a well known Hobart Psychic and enlightened lady I learned a few lessons and gained wisdom from her, and also from the regulars who mingled at the shop.

I lost focus of all of this for far too many years and turned my back on it and more importantly turned my back on myself. How you might ask do you turn your back on yourself?
You just become a person full of fear and driven to lead a mediocre existence that you are not happy with.  Until something, or rather the choice to change - turns the back which was turned around, and places a mirror before your face, and your heart tells you softly you need to look deep within.
I saw a Louise L. Hay doco or movie where a man with chronic life threatening illnesses lost and devoid of answers asked her in a large group of men, I do not know what to do? who to turn to? who to ask for help?
I found her next act quite profound she picked up a small vanity mirror took it up to him, placed it in front of his face and quizzed him do you really want to know who to turn to?
I do not need to explain or elaborate.

The last year has seen substantial changes in both body and mind.
Too much to detail and go into but I wanted to share a theme or thought on one thing I always struggled with. I think everyone struggles with this, and some people are profoundly hurt and crippled by it.
Ever since I was a boy, I had a dream, not a dream but a wish I thought would never come true.
It may seem odd - I wished I had thicker skin.
Thicker skin to handle the life and the people in it.
Thick skin to brush off negative comments and situations.
It would dominate me and got worse in adulthood when anxiety fuelled it.
The people pleaser or person in me that expected a life where I could be happy and not upset people, just cruise through and cause no trouble be a nice good hearted human and live life.
Does that really happen?
You know the answer.

To give an example of the magnitude of my "thin skin" so to speak, if someone, even a stranger, made a negative remark to me - I would allow myself to absorb it and then like a casserole - mix it in with all the other stuff - but we are talking one made by Ronald McDonald - so this casserole had basically lard and copious amounts of salt and refined sugar... some drainage from the McDonalds fat trays after a full days making delightful meals to help mankind and plenty of white carbohydrates... with some classic iced coca-cola mixed with diet coca-cola added for taste (sarcasm).
It enlarged my waistline but exploded my mind into this lethargic dying thing that was infected with so much garbage it was toxic enough to be giving me physical symptoms.
For a long time I was on heartburn or reflux meds and vomiting from anxiety and stress, and a mess of a weak human with no hope anything would ever fix it.
An Endoscopy didn't show much just a stomach lining under pressure.
Anyway lots of that led me to change.
Nutrition was the key that changed the ballgame completely.
Improve the body the mind follows is a mantra I love to use.

The stronger I became physically the stronger the mental growth began to develop.
Only because I allowed it.
You can gain confidence but to push things forward you can never stop at that.
To cut a long story short, this video I found contains the elements I discovered largely myself recently, but this person Leo has added a whole new dimension to it.
I knew the moment I saw his first video recently he was speaking like an enlightened intelligent man that has massive mind growth and awareness.
This is a YouTube Video on How To Stop Caring What People Think Of You, I will include the link to the video from his main website as well; because I was most pleased to find out the benefits of joining and I am not promoting this person at all for any other reason than this - he has the desire to help encourage people to consider positive change. I contacted him and asked if I could share this video, and outlined my intentions why, he agreed today and said okay.
I joined for free and cannot stop downloading the mp3 audio versions and listening to them on bus journeys for added insight, and learning so much I never thought was even possible.

Like he says in another video - do not think just watching and applying this one step will count and solve life and all it's problems you need to grow substantially.
He explains himself he is barely at the level he wants to obtain and that staggered me - I thought isn't this enough? You are a powerhouse and I quickly realised No it is never enough. The moment you shut yourself off from further growth or development is the moment you raise a white flag - life flows and you never stop learning and growing with it.

You need to be open and ready to apply the concepts in the video it is very very long, in fact over 50 minutes, but in all honesty - how could he cut short a topic that requires so much depth?
Be mindful that life is not dictating terms to you, you are not controlled by any factors or trapped and hopeless.
You might think there is no hope or no way out, you may be unhappy, please always know - if you want anything badly enough - you can draw it to you and manifest whatever you choose.
That includes the people, success, happiness, wealth, abundance, career, family, relationships - peace of mind you name it you can have it.
I just made one more wise decision if you enjoyed the concept of this video I will add another profound slightly shorter one by a man who I discovered through Louise Hay.
Gregg Braden.
I only found this a few days ago when a female who decided to follow me on Twitter had this video linked to her profile description; in the simple words This video changed my life.

12 Months Is a Very Long Time

I just wanted to share and reflect upon the last 12 months, a year of change and growth. I watched a motivational video yesterday that mentioned a concept or word I will discuss in depth, and include it here because; at this time of year and for many many others, the concept prevents them from change and success. This blog is very short and succinct because it needs no excess saturation.

12 months ago I used the word But. (alot.) If you spoke to me this time last year and asked me if I could possibly achieve what I have done - I would say No and answer with the BUT. to justify the reasons why.
If you asked me - will you reach your weight goals this time? I more than likely would have had my doubts and replied maybe, But - I failed once. I might fail again.
If you asked me, would you consider giving up Coca-Cola? I would answer But water tastes like Shit. Can you cook? But I don't know how. Can you gain the skills to cook for yourself? But I do not have the skills and it will be too hard - cooking is for those elite tv chefs.
If you asked Can I get fit and strong? answers: But I do not have the energy required. But I feel the gym would not be a place I would feel comfortable. But I might have a cardiac. But weights cause guys to get super huge like Arnold and I do not want that massive bulk. But I could not lift heavy. But I do not know if I can.

I used that word or concept in answer to everything in life because I felt there was no other choice, I allowed my weakness and lack of strength to reinforce it, and grew a strange sense of comfort from it.
That word was a crutch I used and held onto to support myself through an injury I did not have or need, all my life.
It kept me standing up, so I thought, when in fact it crippled me and kept me in rather poor posture and affected my stamina and health.

This time of year, people consider change, many fail to be honest. They use this word alot.
Watch this video if you can it is short less than 5 minutes and please allow yourself to consider one possibility or mindset change -

Use the word once more and discard it from your Vocabulary and your life moving forward.
consider:

But, What If?
What if I reached my goals?
What if I can?
What If I do?
What if I succeed?

I do Not need to state the rest you already have heard me ramble on about myself far too much.
I just want to offer a small gift of encouragement a light or glimmer, a flicker of a promise.
A principle can become a promise, and promises were made to be kept in my book.

Goodluck, and if you decide 2015 is your year to change, embrace it and YOU WILL.

Here is a picture of some cooking that my hero James Duigan retweeted on Twitter it had 900 plus views just to prove the theory that the above can be realised. He is author of the book that changed my life Clean and Lean Warrior I had dreams of oneday speaking or communicating with him on how his book helped me learn and I always thought a year ago: But, That will never happen.
Below it is the Video I spoke of so highly by the great Mateusz M.

Oh and lastly I was made aware recently, by someone that has no idea, that I am possibly driven by the desire to profit from my advice or make money from the misfortune of others - Dead wrong, this blog is FREE and NO advertising revenue is gained, I have no current plans at all to consider a blog career my goal is to work in a gym locally, my Google + profile promotes No advertising, No Products or anything useless that most other people try and sell you.
My Twitter intentions are simple - build a strong following of positive hope and encourage change and growth in others.
Perhaps people like that who make false assumptions without even knowing any basic facts are the same people who sell those dodgy abdominal devices or gadgets that promise to give you instant abs?
Whatever the reason in life, if you discover things that help yourself to grow, allow this to help you to share it with others.
excuse the water bottle and bag branding in the picture the above does not apply I simply enjoy the good things in life :-)

basic ego is ugly in fact it can destroy talent

It is almost Christmas I thought it would be a great chance to reflect on the past twelve months and what I have learned and grown from.  In fact I will share my most powerful realisation.
I have done some rapid progress made some changes improved myself, my mind, my body. My skills and my ability, also talent.  While this is all good a part of me grew unnoticed.  It was noticed by others but I failed to see it, or perhaps I was too drawn up in my own excitement and pride to consider it.  It became a fatal flaw that can turn something nice into something ugly.
It was ego or the fact I became so self absorbed and obsessed with what I had done I lost all focus on what is essential in life and relationships:  Remain humble.  Listen. Speak less.

I drove some good friends away.  It took a remarkable one during a phonecall today to hit me clean in the face with sledgehammer strength.  I adore her for this.  I used to take any criticism once upon an unenlightened time as a personal attack, and react with the defence mechanism to replace the feeling of - should I consider what this person says or does it hold any truth? Should I stand in their shoes and consider the point of view, or just dismiss it as a basic attack on me?

You gain much strength from change and when you gain self-confidence and pride you need to always keep the ego at bay. The ego only considers you.  If I called someone I did not even ask much about how they felt - what was their day like? What was happening in their lives all the things you must do to engage a vibrant healthy conversation.
Rather than inspire someone if you bombard them with how well you are doing, and how great life is, how much you have done the last year - rather than feel admiration it can turn to disdain, and they will want to end the conversation rather than continue it.

In a good person is a true LISTENER
Some people might tell you all their problems, but rather than wanting you to solve them, in many cases all they want is to have your full attention, and for you to offer the gift of listening.
If you can offer suggestions at the right times when needed and if the solutions are positive and you believe they can help the other person - talk.
Until then or if it is not needed Do Not. Rather - Listen.
And learn to dismiss the judge in you - we are all different everyone is unique and everyone has a story and a reason for doing what they do and doing things they do... the sooner you can let go of trying to judge why or putting certain people into any form of confining category the better.

I always was aware of certain elements of the Ego but I thought visually, like the guy at the gym staring in the mirror doing dumbbell curls hoping or assuming the fitness females in the area actually enjoyed this - THIS IS ALWAYS UGLY - but I did not even consider ego is much deeper.
I thought ego was the personal trainer who is ripped and he knows it. And assumes he can have any female he desires. THAT IS ALSO UGLY.
But basic ego is deeper and much more complex.

You control what you think and what you draw into your life.
How you interact with people is critical.
If you exude confidence and charm most people are appreciative but if this is soured with an attitude or a lack of character - the bad starts to over compensate the good.
You can be charming and attractive perhaps cute or super sexy but this means NOTHING IN THE GRAND SCHEME.  If you lack true HEART AND COMPASSION AND CHARACTER... if you cannot make people relate to you and you always project your image onto them without considering yourself - think of it this way - the ugly factor or the things you hate in others - is what you hate most in yourself so you must become the best person possible, and learn to love yourself but remain humble and true to life, and then life and the universe will guide the energy you project.

You can change life at any moment if you are unhappy and think this is not possible you are mistaken. But if you embrace change make it the best possible change and become the best possible soul on this earth you can be.
Shine a light so bright and vivid that it reflects in the smiles of others.
Express gratitude for every day and every moment.
Use any challenge as the mindset of - how can I use this problem as a solution?
Instead of thinking of the past or dreading the future - focus on THE NOW.
Consider meditation and do everything to help nourish and give life to your body and mind.
read and learn and move and grow.

Too many people are stagnant, stuck in a part of the sad reality of - nothing can change. Everything is hopeless.  I can never beat any problem. Things are too big. Life is too hard.  I will never become someone, I will never experience true happiness... I can never reach any level of success.
And my anxiety controls me. The past defines me.  What happened yesterday will continue to cast a shadow on tomorrow.  I can never get that "thicker skin", I will always allow others to offend me, and I will be controlled by my emotions, they will use me until I am so crippled with my fears my body will fail and my mind as well.
I will always care about what anyone thinks and says about me. I will take any criticism whatsoever as a direct attack on me and possibly even stew on it for days weeks or months.

I am here to tell you ANYONE ON THIS PLANET - does NOT have to be confined by ANY OF THE ABOVE.

anyway, Merry Christmas and may 2015 be a year of growth and personal development for anyone that seeks to pursue it
because many will and many do and the universe wants it!
Lastly to any of you who took the time to read my thoughts one word:

GRATITUDE.
